Lyulyatsite
The Lyulyatsite area is located 15 km west of Gabrovo on a hill with majestic vertical cliffs, overgrown with lilac shrubs and with an altitude of 840 m. The site was declared a protected area in order to protect the typical beech forests in the area.
The high ozone content and chemical composition of the air are favourable in the treatment of diseases of the lungs and respiratory tract, allergic diseases, hypertensive disease and initial arteriosclerosis, endocrine-metabolic diseases, neurological diseases. Precisely because of its clean air, there is also a hotel complex with modern balneology, welcoming guests all year round.
The Lyulyatsite area is the starting point of several tourist routes passing through centuries-old beech forests to the Uzana area, Gabrovo and the surrounding picturesque villages and quarters.
