Gabrovo welcomes the debut novel “Caravan for Ravens” by Eminé Sadkou
On February 26, 2026 (Thursday) at 5:30 pm at the Interactive Museum of Industry in Gabrovo will take place the official presentation of the debut novel “Caravan for Ravens” by the young Bulgarian author Eminé Sadkou. The event is part of the national tour of the book, which has already attracted the attention of readers and critics with its vivid style, original voice and unusual literary universe.
About the novel
“Caravan for Ravens takes the reader on a wild, magnetic journey through the Ludogorie, a space where reality and mythology intertwine and characters teeter on the edge between the ridiculous and the tragic. The novel has been described as a satire with universal messages, written with impressive ease, imagination and empathy.
The book is now out in a third illustrated edition, with editing and artwork by Ekaterina-Maria Mitkos, which further enhances its character and atmosphere.
A meeting with the author and a discussion
During the presentation in Gabrovo, the audience will have the opportunity to meet Eminé Sadkou, hear more about the process of creating the novel, the inspirations behind it and the world that Caravan for Ravens unfolds. There will be discussion, time for questions and a chat with the author.
